Boundary Base information
Operational draft for Boundary Base review — not legal advice.
Privacy notice
Boundary Base is the private workspace for accounts, organisations, projects and deliverables. We collect the account, organisation, project, access-log and support information needed to provide and secure services.
We use this information to deliver agreed work, administer access, respond to requests, protect the service, meet legal obligations and improve support. Access is organisation-scoped: one client cannot view another client’s portal records or deliverables.
We retain account, project and upload records while we are actively providing services to the relevant client, then review them against contractual, operational and legal requirements. You may ask about access, correction, deletion or retention through the service contact provided with your work.
Boundary Base uses service providers where necessary to operate the service, including email delivery and internet security providers. Some providers may process data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to limit access and protect information, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
On the public Boundary Base landing and approved demonstration pages, optional Google Analytics, provided by Google, helps us understand visits, traffic sources, demo opens, client-sign-in selections and Cairns Drone Services enquiry selections. Analytics does not load unless you accept it. We do not send project coordinates, measurement values, client names or signed-in workspace activity to Google Analytics. Google Analytics event data is configured for 14-month retention.
Your analytics choice is stored in your browser for up to six months. You can withdraw consent at any time using Analytics preferences in the public-site footer; withdrawal stops future analytics collection and removes Boundary Base Google Analytics cookies that are accessible to the site.
This draft is intended to be finalised in line with applicable Queensland and Australian privacy requirements before a client launch.
Terms of use
Boundary Base lets authorised clients view project material and published deliverables. Use it only for your organisation’s legitimate business purposes and in accordance with your service agreement.
Do not share your account, attempt to access another organisation’s records, interfere with the service, copy or redistribute material without authority, or rely on portal material beyond its stated purpose. Accuracy, scope and currency are stated with the relevant capture, product or report—not as a blanket Boundary Base claim.
Queensland, Australia is the intended governing jurisdiction, subject to any written service agreement. Use the service contact provided with your work for access support or questions.
Acceptable use
Keep your sign-in details confidential and use Boundary Base only with permission from your organisation. Do not upload unlawful material, credentials, payment details, highly sensitive personal information, malware, or files you are not authorised to provide.
Do not probe URLs or accounts, bypass security controls, scrape the service, introduce malicious code, or use Boundary Base in a way that could impair other clients’ access. We may suspend access where needed to protect clients or the service.
Client upload policy
Files sent through Boundary Base are privately stored, checksummed and quarantined for review. An upload is not automatically published, shared with another client or attached to a project.
Only upload material relevant to work being provided for your organisation. We keep it while that work is underway, then review it under the applicable service, operational and legal requirements. Use the service contact provided with your work if an upload was made in error or you need its status.
Quarantine is a handling control, not a promise that every file has been malware-scanned. Review and malware-scanning controls must be approved before inviting external clients.
